The Aacess-500 is a compact electric winch that has been specifically designed to install up to 500 meters of 1/4-inch cable. Additionally, this winch can also accommodate various electro-optic and umbilical cables. Its primary uses include sidescan sonar, combined sidescan sonar and sub-bottom profiler systems, marine magnetometers, gradiometers and oceanographic sensors.
